The Azamara Journey

Azamara Journey: Overview
Azamara Club Cruise Line Review

The Azamara Journey is a smaller ship, likes its sister the Azamara Quest, that is designed to take its 694-guests on a luxurious journey.  The ship will take you on to see the more well known ports and is also small enough to venture into more intimate destinations that aren’t as well traveled by the larger ships.

Azamara Club Cruises is an inclusive cruise line.  This means that while aboard Azamara Journey you will have certain perks like, gratuities included in the bill, free beverages throughout the ship, complimentary self-service laundry and transportation shuttles to and from ports.

The dining and entertainment aboard the Azamara Journey make for an enjoyable time.  With open seating in the restaurants you are sure to feel comfortable with the selection you make.  Entertainment on board is experienced through daily enrichment programs, the spa and a piano and wine bar with live music.

The staterooms have been refurbished with some of the most attractive designs in the cruise line business.  Many of the cabins have balconies and each suite does come with its own English butler service.  You will be surprised at the plush comforts of the rooms and how spacious they feel.

The Azamara Club Cruises brand is worth every penny for the more intimate ports, inclusiveness and the staterooms on board.  You will feel right at home when traveling abroad to such off the beaten path itineraries.

Azamara Journey: Passengers

Guests on board the Azamara Journey are usually older, but are very active.  This also varies a little with the areas it sails (a slightly younger crowd in the Caribbean).  The crowd on board is a mixture of 50% North Americans and the others are Europeans or Australians, once again depending on the itinerary selected.

Azamara Journey: Dress Code

The attire aboard the Azamara Club Cruises is resort casual.  Formal evening wear is not required for dinner, but may be worn.  Bathing suits, jeans or shorts are not allowed in the restaurants.  It is also recommended to bring a light jacket or sweater for the evenings or early mornings while at sea.

Azamara Journey: Gratuity
